In the 2024-2025 academic year, the US Vietnam Talent International School was officially recognized by Oxford University Press as the first OxfordAQA International Qualification Approved Center in Ho Chi Minh City, authorized to deliver the GCSE and A-level programs. In the context of the growing demand for international education in Vietnam, many parents are seeking a pathway for their children to access high-quality education without the need to study abroad. The GCSEs & A-Levels certificates are currently used by over 22,000 students worldwide for admission to top international universities, making them an optimal choice for building a solid foundation for global integration.

To provide this opportunity in Vietnam, on March 1, 2025, UTS successfully hosted the Oxford International Learning Pathway Seminar, attracting over 100 parents and students. This event marked a significant milestone as UTS officially became the first OxfordAQA International Qualification Approved Center in Ho Chi Minh City, allowing students to study and take the GCSEs & A-Levels exams directly at the school. At the seminar, education experts from UTS and Oxford University Press shared their perspectives on the benefits and opportunities that the pathway offers to students.

Mr. William Arthur Klepacki Jr, Vice Principal of the UTS Secondary International Program, emphasized:

Since 2021, UTS has implemented the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC) for students from preschool to Grade 8. Building on this foundation, as an OxfordAQA International Qualification Approved Center,  UTS now officially offers GCSEs and A-Levels, providing a comprehensive learning pathway aligned with UK education standards..

The Oxford Learning Pathway at UTS consists of three key stages:

  • Oxford International Curriculum (Kindergarten – Grade 8): A foundational stage that nurtures students across seven key aspects, with a strong emphasis on well-being and global skills. Guided by the philosophy of “The Joy of Learning”, the program encourages exploration and creative thinking.
