Since 2021, UTS has implemented the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC) for students from preschool to Grade 8. Building on this foundation, as an OxfordAQA International Qualification Approved Center,  UTS now officially offers GCSEs and A-Levels, providing a comprehensive learning pathway aligned with UK education standards..

The Oxford Learning Pathway at UTS consists of three key stages:

  • Oxford International Curriculum (Kindergarten – Grade 8): A foundational stage that nurtures students across seven key aspects, with a strong emphasis on well-being and global skills. Guided by the philosophy of “The Joy of Learning”, the program encourages exploration and creative thinking.
  • International GCSEs – OxfordAQA (Grade 9 – Grade 10): A critical transition phase for future academic and career pathways, this stage not only provides essential knowledge but also develops critical thinking and independent learning skills, preparing students for A-Levels or other international education programs.
  • International A-Levels – OxfordAQA (Grade 11 – Grade 12): Regarded as the “golden ticket” to top universities worldwide, the A-Levels program at UTS offers a specialized learning pathway. Students gain in-depth knowledge and academic skills in key subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Economics, and Sociology. This stage enhances critical thinking, data analysis, research, and problem-solving skills - core competencies for success in both academia and the global workforce.

OxfordAQA Program focuses on practical skill development

Beyond academic knowledge, the OxfordAQA program emphasizes practical skill development, helping students adapt to international environments and take control of their own learning journey.

  • Well-being: Students are guided on how to care for themselves and others, nurturing positive emotions through skills like physical and mental health care, as well as building healthy relationships...
  • Global Skills Project: Encourages students to explore, create, collaborate, and apply knowledge to real-life situations. Through Project-based Learning (PBL), students develop self-learning abilities and a sense of responsibility toward the community.

With the UK-standard educational pathway at UTS, students not only earn globally recognized GCSEs and A-Levels certificates but also gain early academic orientation by selecting subjects based on their interests and strengths.

Students will experience a fair, consistent, and high-quality learning environment, while rapidly enhancing their English proficiency in a multicultural setting. The A-Levels qualification opens doors to top universities worldwide, including the Ivy League (USA), prestigious universities in the UK, and institutions across more than 170 countries.
