In order to take care and protect the health of all students, UTS organizes a periodical health check once a school year for all students and staff.
According to the requirements established by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and Social Insurance laws, all Grade 1 – Grade 12 students are required to register and purchase the Annual Student Health Insurance. UTS students can register for Health Insurance at school. If students have already had Health Insurance for this school year, Parents must provide the Health Insurance card number to the school.
UTS has additional registration and provides Accident Insurance for all students participating in school

The above routes are expected to be serviced but will be dependent on the number of registered students.
The above service fee only applies for pick-up at the station; for pick-up at home, the School Service Office will conduct a survey and notify the cost later. The above fee schedule does not include tolls or ferry fee.
The discount applied for re-enrollment in School bus services is 5%.
One-way services are charged at 70% of the two-way services fee.
If a family has two (02) or more children register for the UTS school bus service, discounts will be applied as below:
● 2 ways: discount 20% / student
● 1 way: discount 10% / student
Total bus fee savings for school year 2021-2022 doen’ts exceed 50%.
Any request in changing the bus route in the middle of the school year needs to be submitted at least five (05) school days in advance. The School Services office will check the route and inform parents about the route availability and the service fees will be adjusted in accordance with new route.
School bus fees payments need to be settled according to the deadline and at least two (02) weeks prior to the service start date.
If a student chooses to cancel the shuttle bus service, they are required to notify the school at least one (01) week prior to the desired stop date. The school will only refund the fee or convert in units of one(01) month. Only applied to cases where the notice of suspension follows the prescribed method.
The fee have been deducted with regards to Lunar New Year and Semester break.

Meal fees payments need to be settled according to the deadline and at least two (02) weeks prior to the service start date.
Students who do not register for breakfast or meal plan services at the school are required to fill out the “Non-services registration form” at the beginning of each respective term at least five (05) working days prior to the start of the term.
The above fee schedule only includes the meal service for three meals: Breakfast – Lunch – Snack, and does not include other expenses incurred at UTS Smoothies Bar. In this case, Parents can directly submit money to deposit to the student’s meal card for cashier of UTS Smoothies Bar for student convenience (this is an optional fee).
The meal fee at US Vietnam Talent International School cannot be refunded/reserved under any circumstances except the following cases
Students withdrawing from school/transferring to another school in accordance with the regulations of US Vietnam Talent International School
Students suffering from medical conditions and needing to follow a special diet as advised by the specialized doctor. In this case, the students need to submit adequate documentation certified by the doctor or health center
Students who are hospitalized and need to suspend the daycare service for one (01) week or more. Additionally, the Parents must provide the “Meal plan exemption” request form and the verification documents from the Medical Center at least three (03) days prior to the date of stopping the service.

TEXTBOOK DEPOSIT POLICY
At UTS, we care about the environment and we value community contribution. With the purpose of educating students on how to take care of their textbooks and use them properly so that these books can be reused by other students of lower grades, UTS has decided to implement the Textbook Deposit Program. From this program, we expect that students will begin to understand the positive environmental and econimical impact that they can have, just by one simple action!
Cost optimization for parents: Instead of buying the books to use for only 1 year, now parents have another option to save cost by paying for an annual “usage fee”.
This program can be applied for all students from Grade 6 to 11 for their Math textbooks and Grade 7 to 8 for their Science textbooks (IP program).
FEES
Parents will pay a deposit of 5,000,000 VND at the beginning of the school year.
At the end of the school year, the usage fee (40% of the book price) and any repair/replacement charges will be quoted and refunded at the end of the school year.

BOOK BORROWING POLICIES
Books are to be returned at least one (01) week before the end of the school year.
Each book has a unique barcode; students are required to return the same book that they borrowed.
In case of a lost book, the students can buy a new one to replace the lost one or contact UTS to purchase a replacement. All the costs will be paid by the students. The deposit is non-refundable. The students need to sign up for a new deposit or borrow books from other students to meet class requirements in the mean time.
Any action of photocopying the textbooks is highly forbidden.
At the end of the school year, the books will be evaluated and the family will be charged with a repair/replacement fee (if any).
Below is the conditions for repairs and replacement fees. UTS will have the final decision on all matters related to condition of the books.

US Vietnam Talent International school always consider the safety and security of the UTS community as a priority. Therefore, all security controls at the UTS campus will be applied through the issuance and application of a UTS Card for the entire UTS community. Types of identification cards including:

The Student card is designed for all the UTS students and issued at the beginning of the school year when students begin studying at UTS. Each student is provided 01 student card with following information: student ID, student full name, service account. If students lose/damage their card, they need to pay the fee to re-do the card: 100,000 VND/card and strap. The card will be reissued freely at the beginning of the next education level

Parents or guardians are requested to provide at least one portrait for parent card.
The card only applies to parents who register identification data at the beginning of school year.
If parents lose/damage their card, they need to pay the fee to re-do the card: 50,000 VND/card.

Gate pass card
Application: Students in Grade 1 – 6 who are registered by their parents to leave the campus unaccompanied.
Purpose: The Gate pass card will be applicable for students in Grade 1 – 6 and the parents that agree that students leave campus by themselves, without parents or guardians directly receiving them after dismissal time at UTS. One parent needs to complete the confirmation form before the start time of semester. Students in Grades 7 – 12 are self-sufficient, so the school will not issue a card.
General information: Each student will be provided with one (01) Gate pass card: Student’s code, Student’s full name

General card policy
The Card must be carried at all times in campus.
The Card is the property of UTS and will expire when the user is no longer affiliated with UTS.
The Card is non – transferable.
The Card allows users to top up money for use at the UTS shop or the UTS canteen.
The first Card is provided free of charge. In case of loss or destruction, replacement card holders will incur a fee of 100,000 VND / card.
Upon issuance of a replacement Card, any existing campus cash balance will be accessible through the new card. Note: once your old Card is replaced due to theft or loss, it is de-activated and cannot be re-activated if you find it at a later date
STAMPS FOR INTERNAL TRANSPORT AT UTS
Only residents of the school community may participate in local traffic. Therefore, the School will provide a vehicle sticker for Parents/Guardians to use to enter the Van Lang Education Complex at the beginning of each school year.
