Welcome to the new school year! Welcome “little seeds” back to school!
We thought the summer break would be long, but looking back, it’s already the first day of school. The first morning of the new school year 2022-2023 took place with a lot of emotions and gorgeous smiles of UTS–ers at the 2 campuses, UTS Van Lang Complex and UTS Botanique Campus. To welcome the old students back to school and especially welcome the new students to the close-knit UTS community, our enthusiastic teachers and school staff had planned and prepared a lot for this special day. It was joyful to see the students and their families happily keeping memories at the school’s photo areas. Especially, right from the gate, students were warmly welcomed by their teachers and guided to their classrooms. In the first lesson, the students were led by their homeroom teacher to explore the school’s campus and facilities. This is also a special activity to help them get to know their classmates and teachers. The students had a good time sharing their interests with their friends or telling their teachers about a fun summer they had. Lunch time was well organized with the cooperation of the students and the help of the classroom support staff. New students quickly became familiar with the process of taking food vouchers and eating utensils, receiving food, and returning trays after meals correctly. Afternoon classes with interesting lessons to help students get used to the learning environment and engagement in the classroom. This is also an opportunity for teachers to listen to the academic goals of students this school year. The new school year 2022-2023 has officially started! After the back-to-school day, there will be a series of meaningful activities during the first week of school to bring joy and cohesion to UTS-ers and especially new students. The First English Play At UTS – Marking The Maturity Of UTS-ers On The Professional Stage
Even though a week has passed since the play “Snow White and the Seven Entrepreneurs” was performed – the actors, crew, and audiences may still be experiencing surprise and excitement. The UTS students’ clever acting and fluent English abilities in their first play, which emits an entirely different personality for characters who look familiar at first, are what made audiences surprised. The play’s compelling story has successfully conveyed to viewers the importance of staying determined to follow your passion despite obstacles. What is even more astounding is that, in addition to the superb players, the UTS students themselves serve as the “core personnel” who assist teachers at every stage of running the play and setting up the stage. Students have the chance to confidently express their love of art, grow as stage thinkers, improve their language abilities, and gain performance experience in front of crowd. Most importantly, 50% of the revenue from the concert night and associated activities will be donated to the Performing Arts Club Activities Fund, and the other half will support the School’s charitable activities. Once more, congrats to the UTS “talented seeds” for a job well done on their first English musical. Hopefully, UTS students will perform a lot more plays and important projects in the coming future.

One of the key lessons that children need to learn is having control over innocent emotions. “Consistency is the key to managing your child’s rage. Do you know? How Does A Sentimental Bond Between Parents And Children Work?
There is always a natural bond that is made up of the family love between parents and children. Parents tolerate and sympathize with their kids and their children are grateful for growing up in their parents’ warm embrace every single day. Authentic bonds can be affected by several factors and have a significant impact on children’s maturity, especially in the mental health aspect. According to parents’ perspective, what is the root cause of making such a generation gap? UTS had comprised the common reasons through accompanying and talking with families about their daily lives. 1. Factors affecting the relationship between parents and children An affectionate and sentimental attachment between parents and children is formed from 3 leading elements: Communication Communication between parents and children plays a key role in developing parent-child intimacy. Besides, it is beneficial that the root principle is to listen to their children’s confidence. In fact, effective communication is straightforward, stemming from the way parents interact with their children. They are not able to express their inner true thoughts confidently which gradually weakens the parent-child communication bond because of 2 different standpoints. Caring in child rearing This factor will form the incentives and encouragement of what children do in order to help parents express sincere feelings and respect their children’s decisions. Meanwhile, it also signifies a companion by giving children proper advice and solutions when they encounter
