Moving beyond the traditional “happily ever after,” the play “Once Upon The Trial” invites the audience into a dramatic courtroom, where characters are brought face-to-face with truth, justice, and questions that have never been asked before. Through a blend of acting, music, and contemporary storytelling, the play promises a theatrical experience that is both emotionally engaging and thought-provoking. UTS VEX 2026 officially returns with the theme “VEX Robot – Mining on Mars”, promising explosive and highly creative competitions

Last Friday morning, April 10, 2026, the Primary School House Debate at UTS took place in an exciting and dynamic atmosphere. More than just an academic competition, it was a learning playground where young UTS-ers could grow, learn, and respect one another. Throughout the event, students developed essential skills in listening, critical thinking, and confidently expressing their viewpoints, while fostering a spirit of open-minded and respectful dialogue. At UTS, each House is not only a team but also a representation of a core value that every UTSer strives toward. Each House carries its own unique identity, contributing to a diverse yet united student community. These values were clearly reflected in every debate round, as students actively listened, responded thoughtfully, and respected differing perspectives. This year, teams engaged in timely, future-oriented topics that required deep thinking and multi-dimensional perspectives: In the English debate round, students explored the topic: “It’s better to reduce plastic use than to ban it completely” — presenting diverse viewpoints that balanced practicality and long-term impact in protecting a greener future. In the Vietnamese debate round, students discussed: “Winning is more important than enjoyment” — a seemingly simple question that sparked meaningful reflections on the value of effort and the true meaning of perseverance.
