ARTS PROJECTS

Arts projects at UTS give students opportunities to understand, appreciate, practise, and create across a wide range of artistic disciplines. Through these experiences, students develop their individual potential and grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression.

School Play 2026: Stories from the sea - When stories rise from the ocean

In Stories from the Sea, Primary UTS-ers took to the stage in a full English-language Performing Arts production that reflected their confidence, creativity, and sustained effort after weeks of dedicated rehearsal. The programme offered students a meaningful journey in developing expression, teamwork, and confidence in front of an audience – all essential foundations for holistic growth.

School Play 2025: The Wizard of Oz

Inspired by the beloved classic tale, The Wizard of Oz – A Musical Adventure is UTS’s annual school-wide stage performance project. It provides Secondary UTS-ers with opportunities to explore their passion for the arts while developing confidence, teamwork, and performance skills.

Art exhibition Beyond The Horizon - Stepping into the vibrant creative world of UTS-ers

The art exhibition “Beyond the Horizon” took place at UTS Saigon South Campus in an emotional and inspiring space. The artworks showcased at the exhibition are the outcomes of Primary and Secondary students’ learning journey within an interdisciplinary project combining Art, STEM, and Music. Using diverse materials such as paper, colored pencils, recycled bottles, and clay, each piece tells a unique story about environmental protection, future life, dreams, and family, expressed through the eyes and hands of the UTS-ers.

“Proud of one homeland”

With the participation of more than 100 students from Grades 6 to 11, Proud of One Homeland was a vibrant artistic journey that brought literary works, historical events, and the cultural richness of Vietnam’s three regions to life through musical theatre, dance, and music deeply rooted in Vietnamese identity. The programme also carried a spirit of giving, as all proceeds from ticket sales and artwork auctions were contributed to the Impact Fund, helping continue the dreams of children in difficult circumstances.

“Strokes of Gratitude” Art Exhibition – Teachers through our eyes

The “Strokes of Gratitude” Art Exhibition is a space where UTS-ers share their heartfelt and authentic perspectives on teachers through drawings and personal stories. Through this activity, students not only express gratitude but also celebrate the care, guidance, and inspiration of the dedicated educators at UTS.

Winter Show – Awakening Winter Through Music

Featuring the participation of a large number of students, the Winter Show is an artistic journey that reflects their learning and development within the Music & Performing Arts (PA) program, where each performance embodies the results of dedication, discipline, and stage presence cultivated through continuous practice—from mastering musical instruments and collaborating as a group to confidently performing in front of an audience. Through this, the program nurtures a love for the arts, builds confidence, and reinforces the value of a holistic education for students.

Art Attack 2025 - A creative space for bold and unique ideas

At UTS, art is an essential part of shaping students’ thinking and character. Art Attack 2025 — an annual event of the House system — was designed as an experiential space where UTS-ers could observe, reflect, and express their ideas through diverse artistic forms.

UTS Little Artist 2025 - 2026 - Drawing Heritage, Preserving Identity

The “Little Artists” contest is back, offering UTS Primary students an inspiring creative journey. With the theme “Drawing Heritage, Preserving Identity,” the contest is not only an artistic playground but also an opportunity for students to explore the beauty of Vietnamese culture and nurture their love for their homeland through every brushstroke.

Sharing from UTS Community

At UTS, every student is given the opportunity to step onto the stage at least once during the school year.
