At UTS, the STEM programme is delivered across most grade levels, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Students are inspired through learning projects, diverse club activities, and opportunities to compete in STEM competitions at both national and international levels.
UTS VEX 2026 - The robotics arena crowns its champion
Inspired by the theme “Mars Ore Mining Robots,” the competition placed teams on a challenging “space mission”: to design, assemble, and program robots capable of collecting, transporting, and processing resources under harsh simulated conditions. More than just a race of speed and precision, it was a strategic challenge demanding logical thinking, adaptability, and top-level teamwork.
UTS Robotacon 2025 – Green steps on the technology arena
The UTS Robotacon Champion Cup is an annual STEM event hosted by UTS. Following two successful seasons, 2025 marked the return of its third edition, expanded to a city-wide scale. The event created opportunities for UTS students and neighbouring schools to unleash their creativity, strengthen practical problem-solving skills, and explore their potential in the fields of STEM and AI.
Robotacon Champion Cup 2024 - A thrilling technology battle among the stars
With the theme “Journey to Explore the Stars”, the second Robotacon Champion Cup concluded with great success. This special intellectual playground welcomed young talents at UTS who are passionate about technology, science, and engineering, offering exciting challenges and valuable knowledge in robot design and programming.
UTS Science Fair - Exploring the world through science models with our "young scientists"
UTS Science Fair was an opportunity for primary students to showcase outstanding science models—carefully selected results from their dedicated learning and teamwork throughout the 2024–2025 academic year. During the event, UTS-ers took turns presenting their ideas, implementation processes, and the scientific knowledge applied in creating their models.
