In the 2024–2025 academic year, UTS became the first school in Ho Chi Minh City to be recognised by Oxford University Press (OUP) as an authorised OxfordAQA Examination Centre, delivering the International GCSE and International A Level programmes. Upon graduation, students following the International Pathway earn globally recognised qualifications that strengthen their applications to leading universities worldwide.

OxfordAQA is an internationally respected examination board established through a partnership between Oxford University Press (OUP) and AQA, the United Kingdom’s largest awarding organisation. As one of the UK awarding bodies recognised by UK ENIC (formerly UK NARIC), OxfordAQA qualifications are internationally benchmarked and equivalent to GCSE and A Level qualifications awarded in the UK.

Oxford University Press, a department of the University of Oxford, is renowned for delivering world-class educational resources and academic expertise. AQA administers more than 10 million examinations annually, serving around 90% of schools across the UK. Together, these two not-for-profit organisations provide internationally recognised qualifications built on academic excellence, fairness, and rigorous assessment standards.

In June 2025, UTS’s STEM programme successfully completed a rigorous accreditation process and officially earned the STEM.org Accredited™ certification. This recognition confirms that the programme meets internationally recognised standards for curriculum quality, instructional excellence, and student achievement.

Further strengthening this milestone, UTS was also honoured with the Best in STEM distinction, an award presented to institutions demonstrating exceptional innovation and a strong commitment to advancing STEM and STEAM education.
