Phụ huynh tham khảo ngay nhé! 1. Thực hiện công tác tư tưởng với các bé Việc đầu tiên các bậc phụ huynh cần làm chính là làm công tác tư tưởng cho bé. Có thể nói, đây là thời điểm bé rất cần người đồng hành, chuẩn bị cho thời gian sắp tới bởi nhiều bé vẫn cảm thấy bỡ ngỡ, sợ hãi, không muốn rời xa bố mẹ khi bắt đầu đi học. Đầu tiên, bố mẹ nên làm công tác tư tưởng cho con trước khi bước vào lớp 1. Để lên dây cót tinh thần cho bé, các bố các mẹ có thể kể cho bé những câu chuyện về việc đi học, môi trường học với thái độ lạc quan và tích cực nhất. Chẳng hạn, vào lớp 1, con sẽ được quen nhiều bạn mới, học ở ngôi trường lớn hơn, đẹp hơn, được học nhiều bài học mới, được thầy cô yêu thương chăm sóc… Các bậc phụ huynh cũng có thể hướng dẫn các con cách làm quen với bạn bè ra sao, giới thiệu bản thân như thế nào. It’s thanks to our teachers, parents, and school – who have quietly sacrificed and supported us throughout the years.” – Quoc Thang – Class 5.1.     Today, the Academic year 2021-2022 Closing Ceremony for Primary Students took place with many memorable moments. Although the past school year was challenging, every footprint of our “seeds” on the way of growing with the constant effort has created many proud results.     UTS believes that the growth of each “seed” will be the biggest motivation for the whole UTS community to strive every day for further development in the future. Wishing you all a happy summer and waiting for a new school year to come.  

UTS believes that this will be a watershed moment in your “growing” journey. Students in Grade 5 and 9 are more mature and willing to try new things. Especially for Grade 12, the graduation day must be more meaningful: when you leave the “UTS garden” and go into the “great sea”, bringing desires and dreams to conquer the colorful world out there.   In particular, what UTS community is always proud of UTS-ers is that despite many difficulties and challenges in the past “distance learning years”, you still keep the brave spirit and are not afraid of challenges, always try to learn, train to be the best version of yourselves. Although each of you has different characteristics, dreams and intentions, the common denominator of UTS Eagles is always geared towards contribution and life-long learning spirit. Grade 5, 9 and 12 students, remember that you are all “unique seeds”, so always believe in yourself on the promising journey to come!

  Before taking distance learning courses due to the effects of the epidemic, Grade 7 and 11 students of UTS participated in the closing event of the interesting “UTS DIARY” English project. Every day at UTS is a memorable and joyful day. To capture these meaningful experiences, UTS-ers started to implement creative ideas such as video clips, handwritten diary entirely in English. At the closing event, UTS-ers introduced their products in front of everyone through confident presentations. Moreover, they perfectly performed many well-prepared performances on the stage. Through these activities, the soft skills as well their uses of English are maximized in all activities.

  The International Kangaroo Math Contest (IKMC) 2021 had been successfully organized at US Vietnam Talent International School on the Sunday morning, April 11st, 2021. This contest is a special occasion for UTS-ers in particular and students all over Vietnam in general to challenge themselves with creative and interesting Math problems. IKMC was organized in order to encourage teaching and studying Math in international orientation by developing thinking through practical math problems. Therefore, young generations could have enough mindset, skills to integrate with the world and stand shoulder to shoulder with international friends. Whatever the result will be, each student is deserved to receive encouragement for their efforts. In the 21st century education model, teachers have mission to inspire students with learning and innovative spirit, help students develop base competencies. The Writing lesson of class 4.1 promoted this spirit in a creative and realistic way. Descriptive writing is not just thinking and imagining. At UTS, students brought flowers and fruits to class, feel their own shapes and tastes. By the own feelings, they wrote sincere and lovely descriptive writings. Miss Phuong Linh – Homeroom Teacher of class 4.1 shared: “I want to launch this activity to help UTS-ers understand Writing is not far and high as well, it is linked to the real life. They can make writings which imprint their personality, teacher will be a guidance to help them complete the tasks!”

  How are your first online lessons, UTS-ers? In response to the new fluctuations of the pandemic, we have to stay apart from each other in the very last days of Semester II, School year 2020 – 2021. We are now missing the images of UTS-ers who studied as well as played enthusiastically everyday going to school! Although we are not together, let’s keep in mind that we can overcome these difficulties to meet each other again at UTS campus in the near future. To make this wish come true, please follow these protection measures as follow: 1. Always wear medical mask or textile mask in public and crowded areas, medical center and quarantine zones. 2. Regularly wash hands with soap or hand sanitizer; clean surfaces and contacting objects (door knobs, mobile phones, tablets, tables, and chairs). 3. Keep safe distance with each other. 4. Avoid mass gatherings. 5. Conduct health declaration as required while going outside.   The pandemic brings us many challenges, but it is an occasion for us to prove our awareness, positive spirit and readiness for the rapidly changing world.   Beyond making simple experiments, Chemistry Club of UTS always orients its activities reflecting appliance of theory to real life. This club used to produce useful items such as dry perfume and aromatic wax. Recently, members of Chemistry Club learnt how to make perfume from natural attar. With knowledge about fragrance notes, they create fragrant perfume from alcohol and essential oil. The final products have been given to their Mom on the International Women’s Day. With more than 25 clubs in 3 groups: Logical, Physical and Artistic, UTS strives for interesting experience of students after school hours. Hope that the Club Classes will bring many happiness and meaningful knowledge to UTS-ers!

  Last week, students of Class 1.1 of UTS learnt about interesting knowledge of the theme “Foods & Drinks”. UTS-ers applied new vocabulary to describe their daily meals and express their favorite foods and drinks.
