Impressed With The Costumes Made By UTS-ers In The New Gen Project
With the aim of pursuing a green lifestyle and focusing on sustainable values, the NEW GEN UTS project – an inter-block project had received a lot of attention and response from UTS-ers.
With the message: “Let’s improve and protect the living environment around us!”, the UTS-ers had 2 months of working together. Students used their imagination and creativity to develop and select the appropriate materials over the first few weeks of the project. Under the guidance of teachers, the students transformed into “designers” to produce the costume that ensured the three criteria of “beautiful – strange – meaningful” and performed in front of the whole school.
Each outfit has its own beauty and meaning with a common criterion of reusing discarded items. The project “NEW GEN – UTS” is not only a place where UTS-ers can unleash their creativity but also spread a green message, helping us to reuse used objects, thereby bringing positive impacts to the environment that we live in.
