our commitments at UTS

At UTS, educational quality is built on a strong academic foundation, internationally benchmarked curricula, and a consistent school-wide approach to teaching and learning. Our ongoing commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement helps ensure transparency, credibility, and excellence across every aspect of the student experience, reinforcing our promise to provide a high-quality and sustainable learning environment.

UTS' commitment

(1)
High-quality teaching and learning
At UTS, teaching approaches are grounded in strong academic foundations, internationally aligned curricula, and learner-centred educational practices. Each lesson is designed with clear objectives to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and the practical application of knowledge, enabling students to grow holistically and prepare for long-term learning in a global context.
(2)
Holistic development
UTS supports students on their journey of self-discovery, helping them recognise their strengths and grow along a pathway that is right for them. Through a balanced combination of academics, skills, and emotional development in a multicultural and experience-rich environment, each activity is purposefully designed to nurture confidence, adaptability, and a positive mindset.
(3)
Global citizenship skills
UTS is committed to developing global citizenship competencies in UTS-ers through the Oxford curriculum and a wide range of authentic learning experiences. This approach helps students build a global outlook, English proficiency, independent learning habits, leadership capacity, and adaptability. Every learning experience is intentionally designed to strengthen critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration.
(4)
Child protection policy
UTS believes that schools should be caring, positive, safe, and encouraging environments that support the social, physical, emotional, and moral development of every student. Above all, the School recognises that effective child protection can only be achieved when children are placed at the centre of the educational environment, with every individual fulfilling their role responsibly and working together to meet the needs of each student.
