Apart from developing talents, UTS is proud to build the life skills program for students

The life skills program at UTS is built upon the Social and Emotional Learning-SEL program which is based on UNICEF’s skill groups. (UNICEF Life Skills Learning and Teaching: Concepts and Standard – 2010), including:
❣️ Thinking & cognitive skills: including the skills of analyzing, synthesizing information to solve problems and make decisions responsibly.

❣️ Personal skills: including the skills to help students recognize themselves, control emotions, and motivate and manage themselves.

❣️ Relationship building skills: including communication skills, positive interaction with others, teamwork, effective coordination, empathy, and understanding.

The program is based on the method of Social & Emotional Learning, an approach that has been highly appreciated by UNICEF and that helps students make progress in academic results and in their behavior as well as helps to promote the skills groups mentioned above.
